The 2015 Service NC State Meal Packaging Event took place on Friday, November 13th. Over 200 student, faculty, staff, and community volunteers spent the evening learning about hunger issues and taking action to help end hunger in our lifetime. This year 80,136 meals were packaged and sent to Nicaragua – go pack!
Thank you Wolfpack community for exceeding our goal of packaging 75,000 meals by supporting the event with their time, money, and hearts. We owe a huge “thank you” to our sponsors for contributing their resources as well. We are incredibly proud of all the individuals who came together to plan, implement, and reflect on the event – the Service NC State planning committee, LEAD Volunteers, CSLEPS Staff, Stop Hunger Now staff, and everyone else who made this event possible.
Stay tuned for updates on planning next year’s event!
