The sixth Service NC State Blood Drive was another huge success. Over 300 volunteers served alongside teams from the American Red Cross at the event held in Carmichael Gym. The blood drive is an annual CSLEPS event which aims to promote a culture of service on campus during the start of the fall semester. This year’s drive concluded with 857 units, including 261 Power Red Cell units, collected.
Over 400 of the events 921 total donors, donated blood for the very first time! The donations made will result in helping 2000 patients in need of blood.
